Ford Pickup Flower Delivery
Flowers arriving in the back of a pickup: that is the joke, and it works every time. This arrangement places a colourful medley of fresh flowers in a novelty container shaped like a Ford pickup truck, a keepsake that stays on the shelf and keeps the story going. It is a favourite in Puerto Rico for Father's Day, when dads pretend not to care about gifts. A florist on the island arranges it by hand and delivers it personally in Carolina, Vega Baja and elsewhere. Father's Day usually means a long family lunch, so if you are abroad, ask where everyone will gather and give that address if it is not his own.
