Hummingbird Rose Surprise
Roses are the heart of Hummingbird Rose Surprise, a handmade bouquet with a light, lively spirit, like the little bird it is named after. It is meant to arrive unannounced and delight whoever opens the door. In Puerto Rico, friends and relatives send roses like these to congratulate a couple who have just become engaged. The roses are arranged by a florist on the island and delivered in person in Juana Díaz, Rincón and elsewhere. Planning this from another country, remember that when it is late evening in Europe it is still afternoon in Puerto Rico, so choose the delivery date with the island's calendar in mind.
