Lavender Whimsy Jar
A glass jar full of lavender blooms: that is Lavender Whimsy Jar in a sentence. The arrangement is whimsical and unfussy, the sort of thing that looks at home on a kitchen windowsill or beside a reading chair. Because it comes already in its jar, the recipient has nothing to do but find a spot for it. In Puerto Rico it is a charming way to thank a teacher, a godmother or a helpful neighbour. Local florists prepare it by hand and deliver it in person in Cabo Rojo, Cayey and other municipalities. From overseas, a short card message works best, and you are welcome to write it in Spanish.
