Sweet Ribbon Posy
Small gestures are sometimes the most touching. Sweet Ribbon Posy is a handmade bouquet of fresh blooms selected by the florist, modest in spirit and friendly in tone, the floral version of a handwritten note. People in Puerto Rico send posies like this to thank a neighbour who looked after the house, a nurse, or a friend who drove them to the airport. It is prepared by a florist on the island and delivered by hand in Cayey, Guayama and nearby areas. From overseas, you can make the thank you clearer by naming the favour in your card message, since the recipient may not expect flowers at all.
